Should High School Students be Enforcers of Younger Students?

No they should not. But at SJMS this is their modis operandi. It is standard operating procedure to have high school aged students be the disciplinarians, the enforcers and arbitrators of these rules. The cadet leaders known as Battalion Staff and subordinate Company Commanders are the sole witness, prosecutor, defense attorney, judge , jury and executioners of most offenses.

If you are a student who meets the following you could be subject to constant 24/7 harassment, physical and mental anguish, sexual and physical abuse and degrading humiliation:

  • Gay
  • Minority
  • Meak
  • Lower class
  • State Ward or Orphan funded by the state of Kansas.
